LightWave Acquisition Corp. (LWACU) priced its SPAC IPO – 18.75 million units at $10.00 each – and raised $187.5 million on Tuesday night, June 24, 2025. Each unit consists of one Class A ordinary share and one-half of one redeemable warrant. LightWave Acquisition Corp. (LWACU) is expected to start trading tomorrow – Wednesday, June 25, 2025 – on the NASDAQ. This SPAC, based in Dallas, Texas, was incorporated in the Cayman Islands.
BTIG LLC acted as the sole book-runner.
“We intend to focus on acquisition targets in the technology sector,” LightWave Acquisition Corp. (LWACU) said in the prospectus.
Robert M. Bennett, the chairman and CEO of LightWave Acquisition, has over 30 years of private equity experience in technology, media and manufacturing businesses.
