The IPO Buzz: BitGo Holdings (BTGO Proposed) Launches $189 Million IPO for Next Week

BitGo Holdings (BTGO Proposed) heated up the IPO market early today by launching its $189 million IPO to price next week.  BitGo’s IPO – 11.82 million shares at a price range of $15.00 to $17.00 -would raise $189.15 million, if priced at the $16.00 mid-point, according to its S-1/A filing dated Jan. 12, 2026. This is a New York Stock Exchange listing.

At pricing, BitGo would have a market cap of about $1.85 billion.

Goldman Sachs and Citigroup are leading the joint book-running team.

Bankers aim to price BitGo’s IPO next Wednesday night, Jan. 21, 2026, to trade Thursday, Jan. 22, on the NYSE.

“We believe that everything will be a digital asset,” co-founder and CEO Mike Belshe said in his founder’s letter in the prospectus. He will control the company after the IPO.

BitGo, based in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, was founded in 2011. The company was known as “Whensoon” and “Twist and Shout” before changing its name to BitGo in 2014, the prospectus said.

BitGo provides custody, digital wallet, liquidity (staking, trading and settlement) and infrastructure solutions, according to the prospectus. As of Sept. 30, 2025, BitGo had $104 billion in Assets on Platform and served more than 4,900 clients – while its users totaled more than 1.1 million.

“Our principal markets are the United States and other major financial centers in North America, Europe and Asia,” the prospectus said.

BitGo is profitable, according to financial statements in the prospectus: Net income of $164.65 million on revenue of about $11.14 billion for the 12 months that ended Sept. 30, 2025.
