JATT III Acquisition, a newly minted healthcare SPAC, soared in its NASDAQ debut – up 14.5 percent to close at $11.45 on Wednesday (Aug. 26, 2026).
JATT III Acquisition (JTTT), a stock-only SPAC, jumped $1.00 when it started trading – opening at $11.00.
Most SPACs trade fairly close to $10.00, the standard price for a SPAC IPO. Most SPACs are unit deals in which each unit consists of a share of stock plus a warrant or a right – or a fraction of a warrant or a fraction of a right – or one share of stock with a warrant and a right.
JATT III Acquisition is small – as far as SPACs go. The blank check company priced 6 million shares at $10.00 each to raise $60 million on Tuesday night, Aug. 25, 2026.
At pricing, JATT III became the 145th SPAC IPO priced so far this year.
Guggenheim Securities served as the sole book-runner.
JATT III Acquisition, based in Westfield, N.J., will focus its search for an acquisition target on companies involved in biotech and the broader life sciences, the prospectus said.
Someit Sidhu, its CEO and chairman, is the founder of numerous healthcare companies. He is the CEO as well as the founder of Khanda Therapeutics.
