Business: | We are a leading internally managed REIT that acquires, owns and operates a diversified portfolio of clinical healthcare real estate properties, focusing primarily on medical office buildings (MOBs), senior housing, skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), hospitals and other healthcare-related facilities. We have built a fully integrated management platform, with approximately 112 employees, that operates clinical healthcare properties throughout the United States, the United Kingdom and the Isle of Man. As of Sept. 30, 2023, we had approximately $4.6 billion of total assets and (we) were the ninth-largest public reporting healthcare REIT (based on total assets). As of Sept. 30, 2023, we owned and/or operated 298 buildings and integrated senior health campuses, representing an aggregate of approximately 18.875 million square feet of gross leasable area (GLA). We believe that one of the keys to our success is our ability to benefit from a wide range of opinions and experiences. We believe the best way to accomplish this is through promoting racial, gender, and generational diversity across all layers of our organization. As of Sept. 30, 2023, 72.3% of our employees were minorities and 58.0% were females.
