We are a newly established blank check company backed by Betsy Cohen, a pioneer in SPAC IPOs whose professional roots are in Philadelphia banking. She is the chairman of BTC Development Corp. Ms. Cohen is the general partner of Cohen Circle FinTech Ventures, a venture fund, and Radiate Capital Fund, an impact investment fund. 

Bracebridge Young is the CEO of BTC Development Corp. Mr. Young is the vice chairman of Bracebridge Capital, a hedge fund. 

From the prospectus: “We intend to target companies in the Bitcoin ecosystem or those companies that could – in our opinion – integrate Bitcoin into their capital structures, balance sheets and/or operations.”

Cohen Circle Acquisition I is the latest Betsy Cohen-led SPAC to complete an initial business combination: It merged with Kyivstar, a Ukrainian telecom company, in early August.
