BlossomHill Therapeutics
| General Information | |
| Business: | (Incorporated in Delaware)We are a Phase 2-ready clinical biopharma company focused on developing small-molecule medicines to treat cancer. Our leading drug candidate, BH-30643, is in SOLARA, our global Phase 1/2 trial for EGFR-mutant non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). There is is a fragmentation of care in EGFR-mutant NSCLC because no drug is effective across all EGFR mutations. (Note: EGFR stands for epidermal growth factor receptor.)We plan to seek an end-of-Phase 1 meeting with the FDA in the fourth quarter of 2026 to discuss recommended dosing for Phase 2 and a potential accelerated pathway for approval for certain patients.Lung cancer is the most common cause of death worldwide. Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) accounts for about 85 percent of all lung cancer cases. According to GlobalData, about 316,000 patients were diagnosed with EGFR-mutant NSCLC across key global markets of the United States, Europe, Japan and China in 2025. Activating mutations in the EGFR gene represent the most common targetable oncogenic driver in NSCLC and define a clinically and molecularly distinct patient population. We have two other drug candidates:-BH-30236, a CLK inhibitor being evaluated in a Phase 1 clinical trial in patients with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and higher-risk myelodysplastic syndromes, and-BH-501284, a pre-clinical pan-KRAS program.Note: KRAS mutations are the most frequent oncogenic driver alterations in human cancer, present in about 25 percent of all malignancies — with particularly high prevalence in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (about 90 percent), colorectal carcinoma (CRC) (about 40 percent) and lung adenocarcinomas (about 30 percent).Note: Net loss is for the 12 months that ended March 31, 2026. The company has no product revenue.(Note: BlossomHill Therapeutics disclosed the terms for its IPO on Aug. 3, 2026, in an S-1/A filing: 7.81 million shares at a price range of $15.00 to $17.00 to raise $125.0 million. Background: BlossomHill Therapeutics filed its S-1 for its IPO on July 17, 2026, without disclosing terms. Estimated IPO proceeds were $100 million, a placeholder figure.) |
