Our CEO and Chairman is Nathaniel Robinson. He is the chief information officer and executive vice president of Cushman & Wakefield.
We currently intend to focus on identifying businesses that can benefit from our sponsor’s global footprint, leading brand, operational expertise, client insights, research and data, and procurement scale in the real estate industry (“Partner Synergies”), including technologies targeting Proptech businesses and Real Estate Adjacent businesses (each as defined below).
We broadly define “Proptech” businesses as those businesses offering technology-enabled services and transformative digital technologies and solutions supporting the entire real estate lifecycle including site selection, development, construction, acquisition, financing, leasing, day-to-day management, asset management and disposition of real estate assets. By leveraging our sponsor’s geographic reach, specific sector expertise and extensive client network, we intend to identify innovative companies that will benefit from Cushman & Wakefield’s unique and leading position in the real estate industry.
We broadly define “Real Estate Adjacent” businesses as those businesses providing services that are currently non-core to our sponsor, but meet the strategic real estate needs of global occupiers and global investors, such as data center / IT services, asset financing, security, and sustainability consulting services.
Our sponsor is an affiliate of Cushman & Wakefield plc (together with its subsidiaries, “Cushman & Wakefield”), a leading global commercial real estate services firm with an iconic brand and approximately 50,000 employees led by an experienced executive team. Cushman & Wakefield operates from approximately 400 offices in 60 countries, managing over 4.1 billion square feet of commercial real estate space on behalf of institutional, corporate and private clients. In 2020, Cushman & Wakefield generated revenues of $7.8 billion.
The history of Cushman & Wakefield’s brand is one of the most respected in the real estate industry. Since 2014, Cushman & Wakefield has been built organically and through the combination of DTZ, Cassidy Turley and Cushman & Wakefield, providing the scale and global footprint to effectively serve clients’ multinational businesses. The result is a global real estate services firm with the iconic Cushman & Wakefield brand, steeped in over 100 years of leadership in the industry. In each of 2020, 2019 and 2018, Cushman & Wakefield was named #2 in the Lipsey Company’s Top 25 Commercial Real Estate Brands, the commercial real estate industry’s top brand study.
