We are a newly established blank check company. We currently intend to concentrate our efforts on identifying businesses in the financial technology and artificial intelligence (AI) industry sectors.
Eric D. Henrickson has served as our chairman, CEO and a board member since inception. Mr. Henrickson has over 20 years of experience in investment management, private equity, and financial services. Since December 2012, Mr. Henrickson has served as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Financial Officer of IHSV, Inc., a single-family office, where he is responsible for investment strategy, asset allocation, and capital deployment across venture capital, private equity, real estate, and public markets. He is also a founding manager of Solomon & Associates, a registered investment advisor established in June 2021. Previously, from 2009 to 2012, Mr. Henrickson was Managing Director of SC Capital Partners, Inc., where he led financial analysis and due diligence for private equity transactions in North America and international markets. Earlier in his career, from 2003 to 2009, he was Due Diligence Manager at WaMu Investments, Inc., a JPMorgan Chase Company, where he evaluated financial products and institutional partnerships, and from 1996 to 2003, Vice President of Investments at J.B. Oxford & Co., where he managed assets for high net worth clients and institutions and oversaw the firm’s bond desk. Mr. Henrickson earned a B.A. in Economics from California State University, San Bernardino, and an MBA from the Paul Merage School of Business at the University of California, Irvine. Over his career, he has held multiple FINRA securities licenses, including Series 4, 7, 24, 27, 53, 55, 63, and 65.
Rafay Khalid has served as our CFO and a board member since inception. Mr. Khalid is a seasoned finance professional with over 20 years of experience in credit analysis, equity research, and financial strategy. Since 2022, Mr. Khalid has served as Finance Manager at Windsor Terrace Food Cooperative in New York, where he leads financial planning, budgeting, and M&A activities. In parallel, since 2012, he has worked as Senior Credit Industry Analyst at Global Credit Services. Previously, from 2008 to 2012, Mr. Khalid held equity research and credit roles at Standard & Poor’s, First Albany Capital, Roth Capital Partners, W.R. Hambrecht, and Wedbush Morgan Securities, where his analyses earned recognition as one of The Wall Street Journal’s “Best on the Street” Analysts in 2010. He also has experience in start-up finance, raising capital and building foundations for growth. Mr. Khalid holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business, and a BA in Finance from California State University, Fullerton, graduating Magna Cum Laude. He is a CFA charter holder.
