FTAC Hera Acquisition takes its name from the Greek goddess, Hera. She was the Queen of the Gods and the wife of Zeus. This is the eighth FinTech-focused SPAC created and led by Betsy Z. Cohen, the founder and the former CEO of The Bancorp. Ms. Cohen is the chairman of the board. Her son, Daniel G. Cohen, is the president and the CEO of FTAC Hera Acquisition.
