We are a newly organized blank check company – also known as a special-purpose acquisition company (SPAC) – that intends to focus on the energy sector and energy infrastructure.
We expect our search list to include companies whose growth is linked to data centers’ need for energy, as well as to LNG (liquefied natural gas), and related areas.
Joseph Manchin III, the former U.S. senator from West Virginia, has been nominated to serve as the chairman of our board of directors.
Thomas Karam, the chairman of EQT, is our CEO and a director.
Jeffrey Zajkowski, J.P. Morgan’s former head of North American Equity Capital Markets, is a member of our board of directors.
(Note: Karbon Capital Partners filed its S-1 for its SPAC IPO on Oct. 2, 2025, and disclosed the terms: 30 million units at $10.00 each to raise $300 million. Each unit consists of one share of stock and one-third of a warrant.)
