Lazard Ltd, an affiliate of our sponsor, intends to use resources across its international financial advisory and asset management businesses to source and evaluate attractive, high growth private companies in the financial technology and the financial services and technology industries that offer a differentiated technology platform or product for interfacing with the financial services sector (collectively, “fintech”). We believe the growth-oriented subsectors of the fintech industry present particularly attractive investment opportunities, though we will not be limited to a particular industry or geographic region in our identification and acquisition of a target company.
