While we may pursue a business combination target in any business, industry or geographical location, we intend to focus our search for a target in Argentina and/or Brazil. Both countries are recovering from years of macroeconomic and political instability, which discouraged investment and hindered growth. Although significant risks to the recoveries of these economies persist, we believe that these countries are characterized by strong long-term growth prospects, currently supported by favorable political tailwinds. The Argentine government has implemented and continues to pursue a series of key economic and structural reforms while the new Brazilian administration has sent early signs that it will follow a market-friendly agenda. We intend to focus our search for a target in industries that we believe have favorable prospects and a high likelihood of generating strong risk-adjusted returns for our shareholders. Targeted industries include, but are not limited to, the consumer, telecommunications and technology, energy, financial services and real estate sectors, which we refer to as the Latin America opportunity sectors.
