•        Branded food, beverage, and consumer products in the better-for-you or sustainability-focused market sectors.    Examples of businesses in this sector include producers, marketers and distributors of organic food products; plant-based meat and seafood alternatives; plant-based milk and cheese; functional foods and nutritional supplements; low-calorie ready-to-drink beverages; and consumer products in the “clean label” category, which refers to foods or products that lack artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, or harmful chemicals and generally have shorter ingredient lists.

•        Companies supporting the consumer shift toward health and wellness through innovative platforms or technologies.    Examples of businesses in this sector include direct-to-consumer retailers of organic products, e-commerce marketplaces for health and wellness products, web-connected health and fitness equipment and apps, B2B platforms for the better-for-you food supply chain, and developers of technologies for more sustainable agriculture.
