Twelve Seas Investment Company II
We intend to focus our search on global companies located outside the United States, including the Pan-Eurasian region that comprises Western Europe, Eastern Europe, South East Asia and the Middle East. We will look for companies with equity value between $500 million and $2 billion. We will also consider prospective targets located in the United States, but which are owned by non-U.S. shareholders, including sovereign wealth funds, family offices, international entrepreneurs or global industrial conglomerates.
We believe that the universe of businesses we consider will include the following sectors: business services; consumer, including education; financials, including insurance; healthcare; telecom and media, including telecom infrastructure; technology and energy, including infrastructure, services and green energy.
Our chairman, Neil Richardson, has over 35 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. He was a general partner in Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), one of the world’s leading private equity firms, where he helped to establish its European operations. Subsequently, Mr. Richardson was one of the founding partners of Lion Capital, a leading private equity investment firm specializing in investments in the consumer sector in both Europe and the U.S.
Our CEO, Dimitri Elkin, has over 25 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. He served as an investment executive at KKR, where he headed up activities in the former Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. Mr. Elkin subsequently served as a general partner of UFG Private Equity, a private equity firm based in Moscow.
Our CFO, Jonathan Morris, has over 23 years of financial executive experience as a principal, operator and advisor. Mr. Morris has led principal investments and structuring at a large private family office. He previously was with the Blackstone Group, Inc. From 2005 to 2012, he was in the TMT Investment Banking Group of Credit Suisse. Mr. Morris began his career in 1997 within the private equity division of Lombard, Odier et Cie, a private bank in Switzerland.
