The IPO Buzz: Happy New Year!

The IPO Buzz will not be published today. IPOScoop is taking a brief break as the December holidays wind down. We will resume publishing the column after New Year’s Day, Jan. 1, 2020.

Only one IPO was scheduled to start trading this week: Molecular Data (MKD proposed), a Shanghai-based chemicals e-commerce platform, said Monday that it had priced its initial public offering of 11.5 million American Depositary Shares at $5.38 each to raise about $61.87 million. The stock made its debut on Monday on the NASDAQ and ended its first day of trading at $5.46. On Tuesday, Dec. 31st, the stock closed at $4.78.

As the holiday season winds down and a new decade begins, we wish you a Happy New Year!
